October 10, 2009 - Luma Tech completes its Development Phase on the Super 35 Illumina program and is completing the first manufactured complete sets for delivery beginning November, 2009!

The 18mm lens is now finished and will be shown in Miami approximately October 15th for demo purposes and for customers who have already ordered complete sets and for those interested in more information and a hands on demo.

The 25mm shown at left is the latest lens to be produced. All lenses have 95mm fronts and are light weight and compact. All lenses are T1.3 !!!

May 2008 - Luma Tech Develops ILLUMINA Super 35 T1.3 Ultra Prime Lenses

Luma Tech is pleased to announce that it is developing a set of ILLUMINA Super 35 T1.3 with focal lengths of 18, 25, 35, 50, & 85mm.  The new addition to the ILLUMINA family will be a high-performance motion picture lens designed from the ground up, not a converted 35mm still film lens, and the optics will be made of the highly acclaimed German glass.

The ILLUMINA Super 35 T1.3 lenses will feature image quality comparable to that of other Super 35mm format motion picture lenses available today.  Special attention will be paid to guarantee absolute color matching throughout the whole range of lenses with high resolution multicoated optics.    

In addition, the ILLUMINA Super 35 T1.3 lenses will feature high mechanical quality, including very precise manual focusing, reliability and exceptional durability.

The ILLUMINA Super 35 T1.3 lenses will be offered at a ‘Best Value’ price point.
